Meet kristin

I’m Kristin Pawlik, and I’m proud to be a candidate for Circuit Judge for Washington and Madison Counties, Division 2. I’m a lifelong Arkansan. I was born in Fayetteville, and I grew up in Bentonville. My husband and I built our life here. We were married at St. Paul’s and we are raising our children in Washington County. My parents, my sister, my in-laws—all here in Northwest Arkansas. From Tontitown to Winslow, this is where we call home.

I’ve been married to Aaron Holmes for 25 years, raised three kids, driven two minivans, lived in the same house for nearly two decades, and practiced with the same law firm for 22 years. You’ll find our family at basketball games on Friday nights, baseball fields in the spring, and cross-country meets in the fall. My family bleeds Razorback red and we never miss a chance to call the Hogs. We worship at St. Joseph Catholic Church, and in the summer, my favorite place is outdoors—preferably on a river.

Why i'm running

Practicing Law for Over 25 Years

I'm in my 26th year practicing law —representing everyday Arkansans through some of the most difficult and personal moments of their lives. Parents navigating custody. Workers fighting to be heard. Small business owners defending what they’ve built. I’ve tried hundreds of cases—family law, criminal defense, and employment cases—my office is the courtroom.

I’m running because the people of Washington and Madison Counties deserve a judge who is ready on day one: someone already in court every week, who knows the law, understands what’s at stake, and will serve with competence, integrity, honesty, and commitment. In my courtroom, I will treat every person with dignity, apply the law as it is written, and uphold the rule of law every single day.

experience that counts

I’ve been appointed to public service by governors from both parties: sitting as a Special Associate Justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court and chairing the state’s commission on child abuse, rape, and domestic violence. I was elected President of the Arkansas Bar Association, and I am in my second term on the Access to Justice Foundation Board, expanding civil legal help for vulnerable Arkansans who need it most.

This job demands more than just knowledge of the law—it takes stamina to keep up with a demanding case load while serving with integrity. My years of experience have prepared me for that challenge. I’ll listen with respect, treat everyone with dignity, and deliver rulings faithful to the Constitution—shaped by experience and guided by faith, family, and service.
